This policy explains how AB Analytics and Solutions ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data you share with us through our website, abanalytics.net. We keep it plain, because being careful with data is the whole point of what we do.
Who we are
AB Analytics and Solutions is a document-processing business based in Nairobi, Kenya. For anything about your data or this policy, contact us at robley@abanalytics.net. We are the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, and the minimum needed to run the site:
- Details you submit through our contact form — your name, company, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and the message you write.
- Basic technical data — our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process limited technical information (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use the details you submit only to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about our services. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing. The lawful basis for handling it is your consent in sending us the enquiry, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Who helps us process it
When you submit the contact form, the message is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, and then lands in an email inbox we control. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process the data only to pass it to us or to serve the site — not for their own purposes.
A note on candidate documents. This website and its form are for general business enquiries. The candidate documents we process as part of our service — passports, certificates, medical results and the like — are handled under a separate agreement with the client, processed in-region in Kenya, and are never submitted through this website. This policy covers the website only.
How we store and protect it
We keep your details securely and limit access to them to only what is needed to respond to you. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and, where a working relationship follows, to maintain it. If you would like us to delete your details, just ask and we will.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- be told how your personal data is used;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, or object to or restrict how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email robley@abanalytics.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Please check back occasionally.
